Nick was Executive Director, Africa and then ED, Strategy and Culture at the Tony Blair Institute 2017-22. He was also the CEO of the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative, 2012-17, as well as playing a number of other leadership roles in the charity since it was founded in 2008. Nick spent the first part of his career in UK Government, working on a range of government departments including the Department for Business and informing policy for the Cabinet Office and No. 10, Downing St.

Nick works with leadership teams and individual leaders, in particular the international development sector and/or in business and organisations building a presence in Africa. By leveraging his prior experience in the Tony Blair Institute, he offers insights into organisational leadership in the region, in both start ups and large institutions; and has considerable experience working with high level and political leaders.
