Rachael Köhne-Lau is a Performance and Wellbeing Coach with 20 years of experience in behaviour change, leadership development, and resilience coaching. Her career spans elite sport and corporate environments, giving her a unique ability to drive performance, engagement, and sustainable behavioural change.

From 2019 to 2024, she played a pivotal role at Matrix Fitness, leading research, content development, and training for global sales teams and key clients. Her expertise in high-performance coaching, physical intelligence, and leadership resilience has helped leaders and organisations unlock their full potential.

As Head of Learning at Leaderbeing, Rachael applies her deep expertise in adult learning theory to create engaging, experiential, and high-impact leadership programmes. She focuses on how leaders learn best, embedding behaviours that last and measuring their real-world impact.

An EMCC-accredited coach, Certified Ontological Coach, and Physical Intelligence Practitioner, Rachael specialises in the mind-body connection as a foundation for leadership. Her approach blends rigour with humanity, helping leaders develop the emotional, cognitive, and physical intelligence to lead with presence and adaptability.

A former Hong Kong Women’s Field Hockey international, Rachael now lives in Howick, South Africa, enjoying small-town life, being active in nature with her two dogs, and cooking for her wife and toddler son. She believes leadership is about energy, resilience, and human connection—and she’s passionate about helping others master these skills.
